A Cat-tastic Layout

Happy International Cat Day! We’re sure you’re already celebrating with extra treats and toys, but why not make them a scrapbook spread too?! Keep reading to see how you can recreate this cat scrapbook layout that uses the Purrr-fect Kitty Cat Mat Paper Pack in a creative way!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the front of blue cat silhouettes mat paper as the base for the layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of houndstooth paper to measure 5-3/4” x 3-3/4”. Adhere to the upper right “mat” on the base page.

Step 3: Cut a piece of pink cat toys paper to measure 5-3/4” x 3-3/4”. Adhere to the middle left “mat” on the base page.

Step 4: Cut a piece of cat toys paper to measure 6” x 4”. Adhere to the top of the middle right “mat” on the base page.

Step 5: Cut a piece of the cat words paper to measure 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”. Adhere to the bottom over the third “mat” in from left on the base page.

Step 6: Cut a piece of the blue plaid paper to measure 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”. Adhere to the bottom right “mat” on the base page.

Step 7: Cut photos to measure: (2) 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”, (3) 5-1/2” x 3-1/2”. Adhere to the layout.

Step 8: Cut two strips that measure 3” x 1/4” and two strips that measure 1/4” x 4” from the houndstooth paper. Adhere to the “mat” that is second from the bottom left on the base page for a frame.

Step 9: Adhere stickers to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 10: Journal as desired.
