It’s Time for the July Completed Album Challenge PLUS a Layout for Your Wildest Dreams

Finished an album this month? Now’s the perfect time to head over to the Virtual Crop Group and show it off during the July Completed Album Challenge! If you need inspiration to get those last few pages done, check out the layout below to document your favorite memories!

Once you have completed your album (it does not need to be from start to finish in July, just completed in July), make a short video flipping through each of the pages in your newly completed album to share. Then, post your video in the Virtual Crop Group with the hashtag #CompletedJuly2026 by August 2 at 11:59pm CT (AU: 3 August at 2:59pm AET) for the chance to win!

For ALL the details on the Completed Album Challenge, check out this blog post.

Step 1: Using the purple suns designer paper as your base, gut a 10″ x 10″ square from the center. Follow by cutting an 11-1/4″ x 11-1/4″ piece of Bright White Cardstock.

Step 2: Use Tangelo ink to splatter the upper left and lower right corners by mixing ink and water on your craft mat, using a paintbrush. Adhere the white cardstock to the base frame.

Step 3: Cut one 6″ x 6″ piece of rainbow stripe designer paper, and a 5″ x 5″ piece of orange gradient designer paper (reverse side: feathers), and cut both in half diagonally. Adhere both rainbow stripe pieces with the long edges meeting the left and right edges of the cardstock, about 1-3/4″ from the bottom.

Step 4: Use Place & Peel Tape to tape off two rows of stars, and stencil the two rows of stars along the long edges of the orange gradient pieces with Tangelo ink. Adhere both orange gradient pieces on top of the rainbow stripe pieces as shown.

Step 5: Clean your stencil, and tape off one star. Stencil the star with Lilac Posies ink in a grouping of three over the upper left and lower right splattered areas.

Step 6: Using the reverse side of the gutted purple suns designer paper, cut three photo mats to 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Cut three smaller mats from Bright White Cardstock to 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″. Layer the mats, then adhere them centered down the middle of the page.

Step 7: Cut the bucket list mat card to 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ and tuck under the bottom two photo mats at an angle, about 2″ from the bottom. Cut the “wild landscapes and wider dreams” mat card around the orange frame and tuck under the top two photo mats at an angle, about 2″ from the top. Finish by adding embellishments and stickers, using foam squares as desired for added dimension.

Step 8: Journal as desired.
