Back-to-School Scrapbook Layout | School Years Collection

Can you hear the school bell ringing? As backpacks come out and a new school year gets closer, it’s the perfect time to look back on the memories that made the last one so special. Featuring the School Years collection, this layout is ready for everything from first-day smiles and classroom celebrations to all the everyday moments in between.

To create this layout, you will need:

A photo collage featuring children in school uniforms engaged in various activities, showcasing smiles, friendships, and learning moments. Step 1: Use Bright White Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of green chalkboard paper to measure 8″ x 6-1/4″. Adhere it along the left edge and 2″ from the top. Then, cut a piece of blue designer paper with black dots to measure 8″ x 1/2″ and adhere it directly below the green chalkboard paper. Complete the layered section by cutting a piece of black composition designer paper to measure 8″ x 1-1/4″ and adhering it below the blue paper.

Step 3: Cut a piece of cork designer paper to measure 4″ x 6″. Adhere it to the right of the layered section, positioning it 3″ from the bottom.

Step 4: Cut a piece of Bright White Solid Cardstock to measure 6-1/4″ x 6-1/4″. Adhere it 3/4″ from the left edge and 3/4″ from the top of the green designer paper. This will serve as the photo mat for four 3″ x 3″ photos. Next, cut a piece of Bright White Solid Cardstock to measure 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. Angle the mat to the right of the larger mat for a 3″ x 4″ photo.

Step 5: Cut two strips from the black composition paper to measure 12” x 1/4″. Adhere one strip along the top and the other along the bottom, positioning each 1/8″ from the edge. The, use the Scissors Border Punch to create a 12″ border. Adhere the punched border 1/8″ below the top composition strip.

Step 6: Finish the layout by journaling and adding stickers, using Foam Squares as desired.
