Starry-Eyed Layout with the Free Spirit Collection

Some memories deserve a layout that feels just as free-spirited as the moments themselves. With its rich florals, dreamy colors and nature-inspired details, the Free Spirit collection is a beautiful fit for documenting everything from family adventures to afternoons spent with the people who know you best. This layout brings those memories together with layered borders, meaningful embellishments and plenty of space to celebrate the moments that make life feel a little more wonder-filled.

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of Navy Solid Cardstock for the base of this layout.

Step 2: Trim a piece of orange designer paper to measure 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″, then adhere it to the base of the layout.

Step 3: Using the Border Maker System with the Blooming Lace Chain BMC, punch three borders from the purple variegated designer paper. Then cut four strips from the floral designer paper to measure 1/2″ x 11-1/2″.

Step 4: Starting with one floral strip, alternate adhering a strip, a punched border and another strip, continuing until all four strips and three borders are adhered along the left side of the orange designer paper.

Step 5: Cut a piece of turquoise variegated designer paper to measure 7-3/4″ x 9-1/4″. Adhere it to the center right of the layout, overlapping the punched borders.

Step 6: Adhere two photos that measure 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and two photos that measure 3-3/4″ x 5″ to the turquoise designer paper, leaving 1/4″ between the photos and around the outer edges.

Step 7: Using scissors, fussy cut the title from a variety mat and tuck it along the left edge of the photos. Cut a 12″ laser cut border in half, then adhere one 6″ piece above the photos and the other below.

Step 8: Adhere stickers and embellishments to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 9: Journal as desired.
