Anyone using a Power Sort will need extra dividers at some point. Be sure to write on them with a regular pencil and use a white eraser if you want to change the info later. By purchasing extra dividers you'll have more ease in moving years of photos from one compartment to another within the Power Sort box. This way you won't be trying to shove let's say a year's worth of photos into just one compartment or two. You'll be able to clearly sort the photos into 3 compartments if needed. Having the extra dividers will enable you to divide the photos among the compartments with ease. With the pandemic we started really going through lots of photos. We tried to sort through school photos when the kids had no idea how old they were or what grade they were in at school. We used folders to start that process. Recently I learned that on a USB stick or photo CD input into my computer that the dates/locations were there for me to see the whole time (not computer savvy and very analog). With this new information we've resorted the photos to a higher degree of accuracy and the photos are going right into the Power Sort by years. Finally we have the answers and will be able to scrapbook them soon. We set aside that project because it was too overwhelming trying to guess everything. Now we have confidence in completing the High School years with the new info and the Power-Sorted photos! I usually order 3 packages every time I purchase a new box, but if you're not sure, at least order 1 extra package. Sometimes I only need what comes with the box, but if you want to sort more precisely, then order more dividers.
So happy that these are the exact same as the old ones as I needed more and they all match in size. I use them to sort my mat packs by collection. I label them with pencil and it erases completely so you can change the labels super easy.
I utilize these to separate my various photo outings. I attach stick notes with the outing details. When I'm ready for that project all info is there with the photos.
