In Canada we are looking forward to turkey, pumpkin pie, and special time spent with family and friends this upcoming weekend!<\/p>\n

Painted Harvest<\/a> is such a stunning product collection, I couldn’t help but use some to spruce up my kitchen table for Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

I enjoy adding a\u00a0personal touch into my home decor. I find a very easy and economical way to do it is through papercrafting! With a small amount of designer paper, some cardstock, a punch or two, a few ABC\/123 stickers, and adhesive you’re all set!<\/p>\n

You can change your decor from beachy to autumn inspired, to a Christmas wonderland.<\/p>\n

For my autumn themed tablescape I started by creating a couple of cute little pumpkins out of the Painted Harvest Scrapbook Paper Pack<\/a>. To create them all you need are four strips of your favourite pattern of the paper pack cut at 1″ X 12″. You simply put adhesive on one end of each of your four strips. Take each of your strips and create a loops out of each of them. Then nest your loops together and then fan them out until you have a little ball of loops.<\/p>\n

All you have to do to finish off your pumpkin is cut a little stem out of Brown Solid 12″X`12″ Cardstock<\/a> and create a vine of leaves out of Evergreen Solid 12″ X 12″ Cardstock<\/a> punched using the new Garden Vine Border Punch<\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0you’re all set! If you wanted to make smaller pumpkins all you need to do is cut the patterned strips to be shorter than 12″.<\/p>\n

The Painted Harvest Scrapbook Paper Pack has 24 designs printed on 12 sheets of double-sided papers. You can make your pumpkins funky and fun by using different patterns. This is what my second pumpkin looked like when I used the reverse side of the patterned paper:<\/p>\n

Next I made a banner and re-faced my decor blocks!<\/p>\n

For the banner, I cut some Painted Harvest Scrapbooking Paper to 2-1\/4″ X 3″ and then cut a flag end into the bottom. I cut eight pieces\u00a0in total with two different designs. I wanted to create more depth and bring in some of the beautiful orange colours that have been a theme through the rest of the decor.<\/p>\n

I cut circles out of Brown Cardstock using a the Circle CCS Patterns<\/a> and then adhered “GIVE” using the Gold ABC\/123 Stickers<\/a>. I used little itty bitty clothes pins that I found at the dollar store to connect the banner to a long vine I had made using the Garden Vine Border Punch and some Evergreen Cardstock.<\/p>\n

For the blocks I just cut 2″ squares out of one of the beautiful orange patterned papers in the Painted Harvest collection and added the word “THANKS” in the same way I did with the word “GIVE”. I added the squares to some decor blocks I had from years ago, but you could re-face any blocks you’ve got.\u00a0You could even re-face your kid’s old wooden blocks!<\/p>\n

Finally, I created some super simple napkin rings. All you need for these is a 1″ strip of your favourite patterned paper wrapped around the napkin and secured with a little bit of adhesive. To hide where you stuck down the ends of your paper just add a leaf punched out of a different pattern using the Maple Leaf Punch<\/a>.\u00a0These are so easy that you could even do a whole bunch of them for a Thanksgiving dinner party!<\/p>\n
