Oh scrapbooking, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways…<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We love all the pretty papers, with patterns so posh that they pop off the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the gorgeous stickers and embellishments that turn each layout into it’s own special work of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And who could forget about the tools? Each one has it’s own special purpose, and when you weave them all together you’re able to create something truly special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But like all scrapbookers, we know that it’s not all about the supplies and the products. Scrapbooking is also about the connections we make along the way and the friendships that come with the craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Some of our best friendships have been made thanks to our common passion for you, scrapbooking. Whether we met them at a crop, during Croptoberfest or National Scrapbook Day or even just in passing, the bond that scrapbookers have is something special that can’t be broken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not just the shared passion that makes it a special bond \u2014 it’s all the inside jokes that a non-scrapbooker could never understand. Who else do we know who would laugh with us at the thought of running out of Tape Runner Refills at just <\/em>the wrong moment and joke about the unusual ways we’ve used the Multi-Purpose Tool? Scrapbookers have their own special language and their own way of looking at the world, and when we’re all together, we thrive. It’s truly when we feel like we’re with “our” people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And these relationships wouldn’t be possible without you, scrapbooking, which is one of the many reasons why we love you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s not all, scrapbooking. We love who you’ve turned us into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re much more creative because of you. You’ve taught us that any problem can be solved with a little bit of ingenuity (and maybe a sticker or two). Before we knew you, scrapbooking, we would feel deflated when we came across roadblocks in life. Now, we know that creativity can get us out of any jam!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of you, we’re also more appreciative of the world around us. Scrapbooking makes us happier and more content with our surroundings, because we’ve learned to appreciate the way our life is now, rather than wishing it was something different. There are so many reasons to be happy, and you remind us of that every time we open an album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ve also taught us to take our time more. In today’s day and age, so many of us want to rush our way through life in order to get to the next thing. However, when you scrapbook, you learn that the best things in life are enjoyed by taking your time and paying attention to detail. Why rush to the next thing when there is so much to enjoy about what you’re working on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Above all else, scrapbooking, we love you for what you do for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ve gotten us through not only the best of times, but more importantly, you’ve gotten us through the toughest of times. Those times when life seems a little less bright \u2014 when things seem like they aren’t quite going our way or working out for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone goes through some tough times, and scrapbooking is the perfect reminder for us that these tough times won’t last. It’s the best way to look back on the better days, and it helps us trust that brighter days are ahead of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrapbooking, you remind us that life is good. You remind us that everything we need in the world is something we already have. You make us fall deeper in love with our surroundings and you help us develop a greater appreciation for our past so that we can enjoy our present and prepare for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
