\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Use a sheet of Royal Blue Cardstock as the base for this layout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Choose several different designer papers (I used six designs from both the Rustic Manor and Sky &amp; Water Paper Packs) for the background grid design. To create the grid, you will use the inside of the two rectangle Custom Cutting System patterns and the Green Blade. Cut six of the shorter rectangles (3-1\/2&#8243; x 1-1\/2&#8243;) and 12 of the longer rectangles (1-3\/4&#8243; x 4&#8243;). Arrange them on the cardstock base as shown, alternating papers until you get the look you want. The shorter rectangles are laid horizontally, while the longer rectangles are laid vertically. Space them at a uniform distance about 3\/16&#8243; apart.<\/p>\n<p>The columns along the left and right edges, top to bottom, go like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One horizontal short rectangle<\/li>\n<li>Two vertical long rectangles<\/li>\n<li>One horizontal short rectangle<\/li>\n<li>Two vertical long rectangles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The middle column goes like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two vertical long rectangles<\/li>\n<li>One horizontal short rectangle<\/li>\n<li>Two vertical long rectangles<\/li>\n<li>One horizontal short rectangle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 3:\u00a0<\/strong>Crop your photos and mat them with Leaf Green Cardstock. Photos used on this layout are (1) 6&#8243; x 4&#8243; photo and (2) 4&#8243; x 4&#8243; photos. Mats were cut to measure (1) 6-1\/2&#8243; x 4-1\/2&#8243; and (2) 4-1\/2&#8243; x 4-1\/2&#8243;.
