A song has the ability to transport you back to a certain time and place and make you feel incredibly nostalgic. The parallels between music and the Essentials collection was clear to blog contributor Sachiyo, which is why she felt it would be perfect for creating a layout for her trip to the Motown Museum. Check out the modern yet vintage scrapbook layout she made!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Blog Contributor Sachiyo\u2019s Inspiration:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Do you remember what the very first disc or CD you got in your life was? For me, it\u2019s Michael Jackson\u2019s \u201cDangerous.&#8221; I still remember the day my grandma bought me the CD at a local music store. Since then, I have been a big fan of Michael Jackson. This summer, I finally had a chance to visit the Motown Museum in Detroit. All the photographs in the museum were black and white but I saw a colorful world filled with music.<\/p>\n<p>When I first saw the Essentials collection, I immediately came up with this star layout.<br \/>\nIt may look complicated, but all you need is papers and a Straight Trimmer (oh, and don\u2019t forget Foam Squares!).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
