My family and I just celebrated my grandmother&#8217;s 80th birthday and since she loves mini albums, I decided to make one for her. The party was somewhat a surprise. We just told her we were going to celebrate her birthday at my sister&#8217;s, but she had no idea that there would be family members traveling from New York, Kentucky and Virginia to celebrate her big day! She was truly touched that so many people cared about her. She made us all cry when she walked through the front door and I am sad that I did not get the photo!<\/p>\n<p>The newest Archiver&#8217;s collection is perfect for the mini 2&#215;3 Pocket Album! I love the patterns, color palette and laser die cuts in this gorgeous collection. Ah, it&#8217;s so pretty! I love this tool. It is my favorite! Then I printed 7 2&#8243; x 2&#8243; photos.<\/p>\n<p>Once this has been completed, I started prepping the tiny pages using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativememories.com\/shop-all\/collections\/archivers\/archivers-laser-cut-embellishments.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Archiver&#8217;s\u2122 Laser Cut Embellishments<\/a>. I used my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativememories.com\/shop-all\/tools\/trimmers\/all-purpose-scissors.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All-Purpose Scissors<\/a> to cut a few of the shapes down so I could stretch them. Then I added a few photos to a few of the pages. Notice how I used my scraps to mat a few of the photos. I cut the rose\u00a0 from one of the patterned mats to create a die cut for one of the pages,\u00a0then\u00a0I adhered it to the page using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativememories.com\/shop-all\/tools\/adhesives\/foam-squares.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foam Squares<\/a>. I think it looks simple, but elegant.<\/p>\n<p>For the first page of the album, I cut the sentiment from a mat to make the album more inviting.
