What a month – CM introduced not one but two exceptional vacation collections! They\u2019re very different but don\u2019t be afraid to mix and match. I found that the Cool Serenity papers provide a nice pop of color to the Uncharted Collection. The embellishments and stickers in both travel collections are really awesome, and it\u2019s going to be easy to over-use them! I like this piece of advice from Coco Chanel, \u201cbefore leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory.\u201d\u00a0 I tried to follow that rule when making the pages below! This is the second part of my assignment to create layouts based on inspiration from Pinterest. These pages were made with the Cool Serenity Collection. Step 1: Using the largest circle pattern, cut a circle from yellow cardstock using the red blade on the outside edge. Using the border maker with the grass cartridge, hand punch around the outside edge of the yellow circle to make a sun. Hold the border maker with cartridge upside-down to line up your punches. You will not use the paper guide piece of the border maker.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Using the border maker with grass cartridge, punch two grass borders from green paper and trim to 1.5\u201d.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Using the shape maker, punch 7 half circles from a variety of paper.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Crop one photo to 4\u201d x 4\u201d and another photo to 3\u201d x 3.5\u201d.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Assemble pages as shown. Use foam squares to adhere some of the embellishments.<\/p>\n

Step 6: Use black pen to add stitching to the top of your banner and to journal.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Cut seven 3\u201d x 3\u201d squares from an assortment of papers.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Punch a 2 inch circle from yellow cardstock, and with scissors hand cut small yellow strips to make the sun.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Use the word bubble punch to punch two bubbles from blue paper and trim to cloud shapes.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Crop three photos to 3\u201d x 3\u201d, two photos to 3\u201d x 6\u201d, and two photos to 6\u201d x 3\u201d.<\/p>\n

Step 6: Assemble pages as shown using foam squares to adhere embellishments, stickers and one cloud.<\/p>\n

Step 7: Add title, journaling and pen stitching as shown.<\/p>\n
