Four.<\/p>\n

July Fourth. \u00a0A Day of Independence. How do you spend your day celebrating the independence of your country?<\/p>\n

I wanted to create a layout capturing the tradition that our family has each year–taking in the fireworks show on the river. \u00a0It is breathtaking, and I just love to hear the oooh’s and aaah’s of those around us. \u00a0My favorite is watching the faces of the little ones— the sheer magical joy in their eyes.<\/p>\n

In creating this layout, I kept thinking of the number four.<\/p>\n

Four photos.<\/p>\n

Four patterns of paper.<\/p>\n

Four shapes. (Shooting Star punched FOUR times to create each layer of the “fireworks”.)<\/p>\n

So, let me challenge you to a layout of Four for the Fourth. \u00a0Use any four photos, four patterns of paper, and four shapes or embellishments.<\/p>\n

I can hear our Design Manager, Carrie cringing as she reads this. \u00a0No, no, no—never design anything in even numbers. \u00a0She is an odd number kinda gal. \u00a0Let’s hope she is able to survive this one layout of FOURS.<\/p>\n
