a Splash with the Slice of Summer Collection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Right now it is a mere 98 degrees here in Minnesota. \u00a0It&#8217;s not always cold here. \u00a0We do get the heat occasionally, and with that comes the humidity, and then the &#8220;feels like&#8221; temperature goes up even more.<\/p>\n<p>With there being 10,000 lakes here usually the place to cool off is in the lake. \u00a0However, for Advisor Beth Thomander and her family of Nova Scotia Canada, cooling off means a jump in the pool. \u00a0That just sounds refreshing right about now.<\/p>\n<p>How do you beat the heat?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Beth was gracious enough to let me use these photos when creating this layout. \u00a0Isn&#8217;t her son a cutie? \u00a0&#8230;and Beth&#8212;-she is just a cutie herself. \u00a0These photos were perfect for the layout idea I had in mind. \u00a0My favorite was layering the wave border stickers to make them look dimensional, and the Scallop Burst Border 1:\u00a0 Use the Black cardstock as the base for this layout.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2:\u00a0 Cut a piece of White Cardstock to measure 11\u201d x 11\u201d.\u00a0 Adhere to the top of the Black Cardstock.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3:\u00a0 Cut a piece of the yellow patterned paper to measure 10-1\/2\u201d x 5-1\/2\u201d.\u00a0 Adhere to the top of the White Cardstock.<\/p>\n<p>Step 4:\u00a0 Cut 7 pieces
