To create this card, you’ll need:<\/p>\n
Step\u00a01: Using the Border Maker System with the music note cartridge, punch a 12\u201d strip from orange, purple, blue and green cardstock.\u00a0 Trim each to 12″ x \u00a01-1\/4\u201d strips.<\/p>\n
Step 2: Using the paper trimmer, cut a 12\u201d x 1\u201d strip from each of the four colors of cardstock. (Orange, purple, blue and green) Adhere using the mini tape runner behind the punched strips with the music note cartridge as shown.<\/p>\n
Step 3: Cut a piece of the yellow cardstock to measure 5-1\/2\u201d x 11\u201d. Fold in half to create 5-1\/2″ card.<\/p>\n
Step 4: Cut each of the previously created\u00a0border strips to measure 5-1\/2\u201d. Adhere to the front of the card.<\/p>\n
Step 5: Using the inside of the largest circle template for the CCS and the red blade, cut a circle out from the front section \u00a0of the card. (Through the front layer only)<\/p>\n
Step 6: To create the blue border for the opening on the front of the card, cut a circle into blue cardstock\u00a0using the red blade on the inside of the large circle template. Center the smallest circle template on top of the blue cardstock circle.\u00a0 Using the red blade on the outside of the circle, cut thin circle border.\u00a0 Adhere to the front of the card using Mini Tape Runner, lining up with the opening as shown.<\/p>\n
Step 7: Cut a circle using the inside of the largest circle template, with the green blade from\u00a0purple cardstock. With front flap of card closed, center purple circle in opening on front of card and adhere using foam squares.<\/p>\n
Step 8: Apply Gold ABC\/123 Stickers adding the title \u201chappy birthday\u201d to the card. Add a music note shape using Mini Tape Runner.<\/p>\n
Step 9: Use the black pen to draw \u201cstitches\u201d along the edges of the cardstock strips, and along the inside edge of the blue cardstock circle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
