Woodland Whimsy for boys and girls<\/a> is sweet for babies and is on trend, but it doesn’t need to be used for just babies! \u00a0My babies are not babies anymore, but I loved using this sweet kit for photos of them!<\/p>\n

The soft colours in Woodland Whimsy Baby Girl Collection<\/a> is perfect for photos of Lauren and I. \u00a0I love the triangles in the kit so I resized them, filled them with different papers and created a layout with triangles. \u00a0I even tucked a couple of triangles behind my photos.<\/p>\n

\u00a0To add an accent to the triangles I created a border in gray to coordinate with the page \u00a0using the Insert Straight Line function.<\/p>\n

I love all of the sweet embellishments in this collection as well and I had a difficult time telling myself to stop adding more! \u00a0Adding a light or heavy shadow to each embellishment adds definition and makes them pop!<\/p>\n

The Woodland Whimsy Baby Boy Collection<\/a> has gorgeous colours that are just a bit richer and are perfect for big boys as well!<\/p>\n

Owl Always love this embellishment! \u00a0This little owl is perfect for my page and so adorable! \u00a0You can resize and place him where ever he fits.<\/p>\n

The number circles for the baby’s age work just great for the date as well! \u00a0I used the tape embellishment to make it look like I have taped my photo to the page and I decreased the opacity to give it a different look and be transparent.<\/p>\n

One of my favourite effects on a page is to take a photo I love and one that would make a great background and blend it into my background paper. \u00a0I use the Straight Cut with the Blend option. \u00a0You can make your blend as wide as you like and this make take a few tries to get the look you like. \u00a0The undo button is always my best friend in times like this!<\/p>\n

So whatever paper or embellishment you place behind your blended photo will have a soft edge and with blend together.<\/p>\n

Example of how the photo fades on the background paper at the top and then once I placed a photo mat under the blended edge of the photo it fades into this as well.<\/p>\n
