I had the pleasure of working on a wedding album with one of my best friends recently and when we were going through her photos she also shared with me her engagement photos. As soon as I saw them I immediately knew that we couldn’t complete this album without throwing in a few of the engagement shots as well.<\/p>\n

The photos\u00a0were taken in autumn up here in Canada where the colours in nature become vibrant and absolutely stunning for a few blissful weeks every year. The photos screamed Painted Harvest as soon as I saw them and then once I put together a quick layout I couldn’t believe how perfectly it came together.<\/p>\n

The layout came together so quickly. All I did was mat the photo in black and then again in grey cardstock. I tucked two of the patterned papers from the Variety Mat Pack behind the photo and then I created a banner to go along the bottom of the photo.<\/p>\n

To create the banner I cut strips of the Painted Harvest Pattered Paper to 1″ in width and then cut a flag end on one of the edges of each strip. I staggered the flags by length just slightly and used some foam squares to pop up some of the flagged ends.<\/p>\n

I covered the top of the flags with another 1″ strip that measured 7″ long. I then used the Painted Harvest Embellishments to create clusters of leaves on the left and right hand side.<\/p>\n

Finally I used the Ruby Red ABC\/123 Stickers to create a title with the help of another one of the embellishments – and that’s it!<\/p>\n
