Here are some easy ways to get started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Use your scraps. <\/strong>Bits of paper left over from trimming, \u201cpunch poop\u201d and border offcuts can be layered, pieced together or turned into decorative accents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get creative with packaging. <\/strong>That clear plastic wrap around your paper packs? It can be repurposed as a layering element or shaker window on a layout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stretch your supplies.<\/strong> Instead of trimming a full mat for every photo, try photo corners or a peek-a-boo frame technique that lets you reuse the center piece for another element.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organize for reuse.<\/strong> Sort and store your scraps by color or size so they\u2019re easy to grab and use on future projects. You\u2019ll be surprised how often they come in handy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even just one layout made from scraps keeps paper out of the trash and puts your creativity to the test \u2014 and this year\u2019s Earth Day challenge lets you do just that.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0db15c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Join the 2025 Earth Day \u201cScraps 2 Stories Challenge\u201d<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Earth Day, we\u2019re challenging you to think outside the box and put those leftover scraps to good use! The <strong>Scraps 2 Stories Challenge<\/strong> is all about getting creative with the scraps you\u2019ve collected and turning them into layouts that tell a story. No new cuts (unless you want to!) \u2014 use what you already have on hand! It\u2019s all about giving those bits and pieces their chance to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Participate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a layout using as many scraps as you can!
