So much of North America is experiencing some beautiful weather this weekend! \u00a0Here in Minnesota it is deer hunting weekend, which mean many of us ladies are enjoying a nice quiet “girls weekend”!<\/p>\n

Let’s talk about borders! \u00a0Borders are simple, adorable, and functional. \u00a0They also add color, and design to any simple page layout.
\n<\/p>\n

Challenge 3: \u00a0Holiday Borders<\/strong><\/p>\n

Create a holiday border or two to be added to your holiday scrapbook pages after the holidays have passed! \u00a0When you have them completed, take a photo and add the image to our Facebook Event Page<\/a> before 3pm CST to be eligible for the prize. Use hashtag #CMVirtualHolidayCrop<\/p>\n

To create the trees as shown:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> \u00a0Cut the paper in varied sized rectangles. \u00a0Measure the width of the rectangle. \u00a0Make a mark on the back side at the 1\/2 way mark.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> \u00a0Use your trimmer to cut from the mark to each opposite corner.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Tear several strips of the Silver Shimmer Cardstock. \u00a0Adhere the trees in between the layers of the torn cardstock to create the border.<\/p>\n

Step 5: \u00a0Adhere stickers for a title.<\/p>\n
